Welcome To 902 Youth
Where Potential Meets Purpose.
902 Youth is a bold, youth-driven nonprofit serving the global community from Cambridge, MA and Providence, RI. Rooted in the education, advancement, and overall well-being of today’s youth, we support individuals ages 16 to 25 as they explore who they are and where they want to go. Through hands-on programs, global opportunities, and community-based learning, we empower young people to define success on their own terms—and give them the tools, support, and network to get there.
The 8 Areas of Wellness Framework
We empower youth across eight key areas of wellness for a balanced and healthy life.

![Happy #WellnessWednesday!
We are halfway through Better Conversations week and a day away from Thanksgiving! With all of this in mind, here are some helpful tips for improving your social wellness:
Keeping in regular contact with those close to you: To nurture your relationships, devote some time in your week to let others know you are thinking about them. Focus on relationships that that are healthy where you both mutually provide support to each other.
Volunteering: Giving back to others is a worthwhile venture. Give some thought to joining an activity or group that aligns with your skills, like 902 Youth!
Taking care of yourself: Like RuPaul says, “If you can’t love yourself, how in the [heck] are you going to love somebody else?” Spend your energy focusing on the positive aspects of life: compliment others, acknowledge your positive qualities, and partake in self-care activities.
Being mindful of commitments: Avoid spreading yourself too thin by making sure you can keep your word before making a commitment. A relationship can be damaged by consistently going against promises.
Avoiding criticisms: You should avoid destructive criticisms of others and yourself. We are all guilty of criticizing ourselves, try to have more grace for yourself. Avoid criticizing others because it can cause negative effects on self-esteem. Furthermore, avoid those who are destructively critical of you, as this is often a sign of unhealthy relationships.
Learning about others: Being able to speak with another person to understand their point of view, and how it makes them feel opens to door to greater understanding.
