About the Role

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the Wander Program's offerings, aligning with organizational goals and industry trends.

Program Development: Identify and develop new initiatives and partnerships to expand the range of international experiences offered by the program.

Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of program coordinators, advisors, and administrative staff to achieve program objectives and provide exceptional support to participants.

Participant Support: Oversee the provision of comprehensive support services to participants, including pre-departure orientation, on-site assistance, and re-entry support.

Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain quality standards for program delivery, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.

Budget Management: Manage the program budget effectively, allocating resources efficiently to support program activities and initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain relationships with partner institutions, employers, government agencies, and other stakeholders to enhance program visibility and effectiveness.

Promotion and Marketing: Develop marketing strategies to promote the Wander Program and attract a diverse range of participants, including students, professionals, and individuals of all ages.

Evaluation and Assessment: Monitor program outcomes and participant feedback to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop risk management strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of program participants.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; master's degree preferred.

  • Previous experience in international education, program management, or related field.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in international education.

  • Budget management experience.

  • Fluency in multiple languages (desired but not required).

  • Passion for promoting cultural exchange and international understanding.

As the Director of the Horizons Program, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our comprehensive international experience program. You will lead a team in providing diverse opportunities for individuals seeking enriching experiences abroad, ranging from study programs to internships, volunteering, teaching, language immersion, and full degree programs. Your primary objective will be to ensure the smooth operation and continual improvement of the program, while promoting cultural exchange, personal growth, and academic advancement among participants.
